By connecting to and utilizing GeneralsOnline services, you agree to abide by the rules below. Violations may result in warnings, timeouts, temporary bans or permanent bans.

• No racism, hate speech, or discriminatory language
• Any form of racism, ethnic slurs, or targeted hate speech will result in immediate penalties, including permanent bans.

• No political debates or provocations
• Generals Online is not a platform for political discussion. Political arguments, propaganda, or inflammatory comments will be removed, and repeat offenders may be banned.

• No spamming
• Flooding the general lobby or match chat with repeated messages, symbols, or advertisements will result in timeouts or bans.

• No disruptive behavior
• Avoid excessive trolling, baiting, or derailing conversations in public spaces.

• No cheating or unauthorized modifications
• Using hacks, exploits, or tools that give unfair advantages is strictly forbidden and may result in temporary or permanent bans depending on severity.

• Respect staff and moderators
• Follow instructions from Generals Online staff. Disputes should be raised respectfully through proper channels.

• Account responsibility
• Players are responsible for actions taken on their accounts. Sharing accounts or impersonating others will lead to penalties.

• No intentional quitting or abandoning matches
• Repeatedly joining games and leaving immediately without valid reason disrupts gameplay for others and may result in timeouts or bans.

• Play fairly and respect the game flow
• Exploiting bugs, abusing disconnects, or deliberately sabotaging matches is prohibited.

• Respect host and lobby rules
• Follow lobby settings and ready-up requests promptly to avoid delaying others and ruining their gaming experience.

• Users found to be attacking or exploiting the service or any component of our cloud infrastructure (e.g. via DDoS) will face permanent bans.

• Violations may result in timeouts of certain features, temporary or permanent bans, depending on severity & frequency.
• Staff decisions are made to protect the community and ensure fair play.
• Staff decisions are reviewed/audited as a group and typically require multiple staff members to sign off on major decisions.
• Repeat offenders will face escalating consequences.
